Maharashtra SSC & HSC Admission
You take admission in a school or junior college, which registers you for the SSC (Class 10) or HSC (Class 12) examination through the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) and its nine divisional boards. Here is how the process works.
How registration works
- SSC (Class 10) — Your school registers you for the SSC examination through the Maharashtra State Board (MSBSHSE) via your divisional board.
- Junior college admission — After SSC, you take admission in a junior college (Classes 11–12) and choose a stream — in many districts this is through a centralised FYJC admission process.
- HSC (Class 12) — The junior college registers you for the HSC examination through the divisional board with your final subjects.

- Confirm your medium and registered subjects/stream are correct before the exam form is submitted.
