# About Maharashtra Board Help Center

Maharashtra Board Help Center is a free, independent guide to the processes of the Maharashtra State Board — results, appeals, supplementary exams, FYJC admission, documents and student rights. We write in plain English, link the official source, and show the date we last checked it.

We are not the board. We are an editorial team that reads the circulars so you do not have to.

Maharashtra Board Help Center is an independent student resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), the Maharashtra School Education Department, or any Government of Maharashtra body. We are not an official board website. Official information is published only at mahahsscboard.in and the board's own portals; where our pages summarise a rule, we link the original circular or portal so you can check it yourself.

Who this site is for

SSC (Class 10) and HSC (Class 12) students of the Maharashtra board, and the parents reading over their shoulder. Many read English as a second language, on a mid-range Android phone, on metered data, usually at a bad moment. So we keep sentences short, put facts in tables, and keep pages light.

We also write for two groups who are usually left to work it out alone: students who did not pass, and students still without a junior college seat after the rounds have run.

Why this site exists

The information is public, but scattered: mahahsscboard.in for the circular, mahresult.nic.in for the result, mahafyjcadmissions.in for Class 11 admission, and more portals again for appeals, migration certificates, lost marksheets, scholarships and MHT-CET. Rules arrive as PDFs in dense official language, and the portals that matter most fail hardest on the days everyone needs them.

Third-party summaries fill that gap, and they contradict each other — grace marks and ATKT are the clearest examples. Without a link back to the circular, a student has no way to tell which version is right. So every rule on this site points back to the document it came from, in plain English, with the date we last checked it.

The problems we exist to solve

These are the questions we see asked again and again. The site is built around them.

— The FYJC admission portal fails. Registration stalls, the OTP never arrives, a payment leaves the account without registering. We write what each failure means, what evidence to keep, and how to escalate.

— The result site goes down on result day. The working mirrors, the SMS and DigiLocker routes, and what to do while you wait.

— Verification, photocopy and revaluation are three different things. Students apply for the wrong one and lose the window; revaluation cannot be filed until the photocopy is in your hands.

— "I did not pass." Supplementary (पुरवणी परीक्षा), the next main exam, ATKT, Form 17, open schooling — every route and its deadline, written with dignity.

— Reading your own marksheet — what the printed symbols, abbreviations and grade columns stand for, and which subjects count towards the total under the rule in force for your year. Where a rule has changed, we name the circular that changed it and the date.

— Your school will not release your hall ticket. Hall tickets reach students through their school, so a school can hold one back. We write what to ask for, in what order, and how to escalate to the divisional board.

— Documents that take longer than you have — migration certificates (स्थलांतर प्रमाणपत्र), duplicate and lost marksheets across the separate reprint, boardmarksheet and Aaple Sarkar portals, and the caste validity, non-creamy-layer and EWS paperwork that must start before results.

— Form 17, bifocal and vocational subjects, the MHT-CET bridge, and what comes after Class 10 — structural choices that are rarely explained in one place, including why a percentile is not a mark.

What this site does not do

We are not MSBSHSE, a divisional board, a school or a junior college. We cannot process an admission, confirm a seat, change your marks, release a result, or issue a marksheet, certificate or hall ticket. Only the board, your school or the admission authority can do those things.

We do not sell exam access, hall tickets, seats or results. We are not an admission agent, we run no paid helpline, and we host no leaked or "guaranteed" papers. We also do not do textbook solutions — Balbharati answers are covered well elsewhere, and we concede that ground on purpose.

How our pages are made

Every factual claim traces to a primary source — a board circular, a Government Resolution, or an official portal — and we link it, citing the circular by number and date where one exists. Where official sources disagree, we show both. Where we cannot confirm something, we label it unconfirmed instead of guessing. Pages are published by the Maharashtra Board Help Center editorial team as a team — we do not attach invented personal names to them — and each page shows the date it was last checked and the source it was checked against.

We write in English, printing the official Marathi term in Devanagari beside it — पुरवणी परीक्षा, गुणपडताळणी, पुनर्मूल्यांकन, स्थलांतर प्रमाणपत्र — because that is the word on the form. We never machine-translate.

Some drafts are AI-assisted. Every published page is reviewed by a human editor against the primary source before it goes live.
